As someone who never played team sports in school and took a lot of art classes, I was pleasantly surprised and humored when the WPJA sent me a trophy for placing first in the international Engagement Portrait competition. In accepting this award I would like to thank the WPJA and my parents who made me babysit my little sister instead of trying out for basketball, forever changing the course of my life!
