Pretty Penelope!

It's always a great honor when another photographer asks us to do portraits for their family, so it was a great honor when our friends Sonia and Ravi asked us to photograph their little Penelope. Sonia is a wonderful photographer whose work I have always admired.

Eventually Penelope grew tired of me and my camera:

My son Ollie twists his hair when he's tired - he's always done this. I love looking for similar habits in other babies. I'll bet good money that this gesture follows Penelope as she grows older, and she might even still do it when she's an old woman.
