Okay, my birthday was a month ago. But I keep forgetting to post about my new Orla Kiely purse! Matt gave me this pretty thing for my birthday. We had to order it online from London. Isn't it pretty!
Sarah and Erik made us keep their first dance plans a secret, so we've been looking forward to their wedding all year! They planned a perfect day on the Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, Connecticut. They surprised the guests with a choreographed tango for their first dance! It was amazingly executed, and moms couldn't stop screaming and clapping it was such a great surprise!
We'll post more pics here too, because the rest of the day was just gorgeous, including Sarah's white wedding dress (which went right back on after the tango).
Raelyn and Chris planned an elegant harvest themed wedding on the Wheaton College campus. It was a crisp autumn day, and Raelyn wore a lovely red flower in her hair. The dark wooden reception hall could have been right out of Harry Potter (minus the floating candles). They had crates of yummy fresh-harvested apples everywhere and I snacked on them all day.
We can't wait to shoot Alex's Bar Mitzvah in just a couple of weeks! He loves sports, so he and Matt had fun in the city with his sports gear: baseball, football, basketball, golf, skiing... did I miss anything?
Priscila was a gorgeous bride... she wore this amazing dress that had a swath of red right down the back. It was a very romantic and sweet wedding celebration. Scott and Priscila held their reception in the newly renovated ballroom overlooking the Boston Harbor at the Hyatt Harborside.
Ollie was delighted that we had construction on our street for a couple of weeks this fall... not so fun for his parents or their visiting clients, but sheer heaven for this little dude.
I just can't let go... so here are a few pics from our beach day with David, Adina, and Annu down in Rhode Island. It's hard to believe this was only about a month ago!
